Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
TACT is looking for an experienced BCBA to work in our innovative early learning program.
Job description:
Work collaboratively in a team of motivated people to meet TACT’s mission
Work directly with children; train and supervise staff, including fieldwork supervision
Conduct assessments and design and implement high quality individualized treatment plans
Work closely with caregivers to support the needs of the whole family
Collaborate with other professionals in interdisciplinary team
Work closely with other leaders to continually move the organization forward
Engage in continuous professional development
Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Behaviour Analyst with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and have worked as a BCBA in an early intervention setting for at least 3 years
Strong verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to adhere to health and safety protocols and perform physical requirements related to working with young children
Desire to learn and grow professionally
Vulnerable Sector Screening
Training and experience with FTF’s practical functional assessment and skills-based treatment preferred

Job description:
Work collaboratively in a team of motivated people
Work directly with children, 2-9 years old, with language and developmental delays
Teach meaningful skills according to individualized learning plans, using the principles of applied behaviour analysis (ABA)
Collect data and manage data in software system
Monitor child’s progress using evidence-based decision protocols
Work closely with BCBA/BCBA-D to ensure student progress
Prepare educational program materials
Communicate with families; Opportunities to participate in caregiver training
Attend weekly team meetings
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in ABA
Strong desire to help children reach their full potential
Previous experience working with children
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to adhere to health and safety protocols
Ability to perform physical requirements related to working with young children
Desire to learn and grow professionally
